First up is Emily's AWESOME card featuring glitter and twine (two things I don't often think of together, but she nailed it with this one!), add to that the chipboard bells and blinged out doily and you've got yourself a "ROCKIN" New Years party invite! Great job Emily, this is AMAZING!!! Another tip for this one would be to wet emboss your favorite graphic design stamp using silver embossing powder to achieve the same back ground effect.
Next up is Gayl's OUT OF THIS WORLD tag!!! She featured the Chalk Board paper that we just got in to the store adding layers of embossing powder and Shimmerz to achieve an effect that leaves me speechless. Now, I've got to say, I've seen this project in person, and as great as it looks in the pic below, I've got to tell you..... it's a MILLION times more gorgeous in person. It is currently displayed at Paper Vineyard if anyone wants to check it out in person. And you NEED to check this one out in person!!! P.S. Gayl, I LOVE all the stitching with the rainbow thread! LOVE IT!
Now here's where I would typically insert my project, but since we just got these nifty tubes in, I thought I would spend the last of this post showcasing SRM's New Year project. The beauty of this one is that it simply features the New Year's stickers, and the fun tube that can be filled with your New Year resolution, confetti, or candy.... well, unless the candy ruins your resolution right out of the gate!!! In that case, you might want to skip filling this one with the candy... no sense setting yourself up for failure in the new year. Anyway.....
Here's a closer pic. The tubes are in and going fast! This project also features the Webster's Pages papers and, of course, the New Year's stickers by SRM.
One last one with a slightly lighter color scheme. I just think this is fun and brilliant! And honestly.... wouldn't it be HILARIOUS to give this to a "frienemy" filled with candy! Now that's a funny gift! I just love this!!!
Welp, that's it for today's incredible projects. They are all amazing and have gotten me absolutely excited for the pending new year..... WOO HOO 2011!!!
Those tubes are SOOOOOOO cute!!! I love them! They would work well for Valentine's Day too!
